Looking for a snuggle buddy who doubles as a sunshine nap enthusiast? Look no further than Idgie, a sweet, lovable six-year-old basset hound with ears for days and a heart even bigger! This low-rider queen weighs about 55-60 pounds and is ready to wiggle her way into someone's life (and lap)!
Idgie is spayed and up to date on vaccines, heartworm prevention, and flea/tick protection. She is crate trained and house trained, and while she's not been tested with cats, she's great with other dogs and adores humans. She's the life of the party but doesn't quite know her size; she's a big-hearted gal who loves kids but would do best with school-aged or older children who can handle her bulldozer kisses! She's all about couch cuddles, sunbathing, and being your number one shadow. She would thrive in a home where her people are around most of the time (work-from-home fam? retired snuggler? You're her dream come true!).
Her favorite activities are lounging in sunbeams, snuggling on the couch, getting belly rubs, making new friends (she loves visitors!), and playing with (and plowing through) her people.
Like any diva, Idgie has opinions. If she doesn't get enough attention, she may vent her feelings by redecorating her blanket...in pieces (we recommend lots of cuddles instead!). And yes, she has a basset bark; doorbells and squirrels, consider yourself warned!
Ready to meet Idgie? This loving lady is currently in her home waiting for her forever family. Her humans want the absolute BEST match, so she'll stay cozy and cared for until the right people come along. If you think that's you, please submit an application! Her adoption fee is $200.
