Atticus is thought to be a Lab/Aussie mix, red hidden merle with speckles and freckles all over his face and ears. He is a quiet, medium-sized dog with a lot of experience holding his own with both large and small dogs in a group setting. He crates perfectly, has impeccable leash manners, rides in the car calmly, good recall in most situations, and is happy to self-entertain for hours with toys in the backyard. He can be fearful of strangers, but no one is a stranger for long. He has integrated well into his foster family with respectful elementary aged children, unfazed by the noise and activity around his crate. He does paw or jump up occasionally when overexcited and sometimes needs a bit of bribery to come back inside when he wants just 5 more minutes.
