About Hopper | |
Hopper is a 5 month old heeler mix puppy who is crate trained, loves other dogs, wants to play with kids, (slightly older kids because of his energy and size). He is a great all around dog who is displaying a bit of "littermate syndrome" with his brother in the same house. He is 98% house trained. He walks well on a leash and is excited to find his new home. Is it yours? This is from his current owner:
Hopper is a high-energy, loving puppy. He is so gentle when he is calm, and when he wakes up from his naps he loves to give "hugs" and kisses. He is a sweetheart. We need someone that is not going to keep him in a crate all day long - someone that is going to play with him, take him on adventures, and love him like part of their family. He is highly intelligent. He is doing really well with training: working on leash training currently (short walks around the yard), just learned how to play fetch with a ball, doing great with recall "Hopper, Come", knows "sit", working on "off" as he gets excited and likes to jump up. He loves any and all toys! He loves to hear he's a good boy. He does well with a lot of love and attention. Hopper still has a lot to learn, so training needs to be consistent and a top priority; he has so much potential and has come so far since we have brought him home! We want someone that will give him the best possible life!
