Lando, handsome Lando.  Lando lives in a home with young children and he expresses a bit of anxiety over the hustle and bustle of the day.  When the children go to bed, he is relaxed and all snuggles. He is an active dog--after all, he is mainly border collie, and LOVES LOVES LOVES toys. 

If you have a low-key, reasonable quiet household and are looking for a great dog, Lando may be the one for you!

Our first step is an application which can be filled out at:   www.cvrrescue.org 

The adoption fee for this dog is $175.00 which helps to cover a portion of the care provided, including: spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing, deworming, age appropriate vaccinations: DHLP/P, Bordetella, Rabies, and any medical care received while with CVRR.  All animals are on flea/tick and parasite prevention for the duration of foster care.

CVRR is a nonprofit organization, we have no paid staff. Applications are reviewed and processed by our volunteers. Please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks and follow-up questions.   You can expedite the process by providing phone and email info for all your references.  

Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the dog picks you too.  If it seems the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee and an adoption contract to be signed.  The adoption fee helps to cover a portion of the care provided to the animals.   By the time of adoption all dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vetting.

CVRR is a NO KILL rescue organization and we have a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to all of our animals. If for any reason the adoption does not work out the animal is to be returned to CVRR.   We will re-evaluate and choose a new home based on the best fit for that particular animal.
