Kindred is a gentle girl. She loves children once given a moment to warm up. She does best in a calm environment with no physical threat towards her. As long as that is true (which, this is how it is for pretty much EVERY dog EVER) then she is the most loving, sweet girl. She enjoys cuddling with her foster mom before she got up, head on the pillow, trying to give kisses and holding on with her paw. She is perfect. Housetrained, loves to play with her 4 year old human foster sister and is so patient with her, never trying to be aggressive. She is so loving, content to just lay on your lap for as long as you'll have her. To go outside, her foster mom literally opens the door for her and she nudges it back open to come back. She never runs off. She is a total love bug. And we cannot get enough of her sweet loving eyes!
Kindred prefers not to be crated because she likes to be a part of the family and of the house, but she does NOT destroy things. She gets confused with kid toys sometimes and can chew, but, give her dog toys and show her that those are hers, and she will not cause any more problems. She's extremely eager to please. and has the cutest underbite you've ever seen. Her foster mom thinks she is just perfect! She adds that Kindred "does enjoy a good cat chase, if given the chance, but don't we all? "
Kindred is the mom to the charmed litter, who have all been adopted. She came into our care late December of 2017 needing a C-Section to have her puppies. Please fill out an application to add this loving, happy dog to your family. Kindred is good with kids and dogs. She is a love of a girl who is happy to put motherhood behind her and become a family dog! Kindred is a black lab (mom) with a yellow lab/ American Staff (dad) So mostly lab and a little American Staffy in her.
This dogs adoption fee is $175 which covers the following: spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing, dhp/p, rabies, bordatella (agre appropriate vaccines), deworming, and all the care he received while with CVRR. All animals are on flea and tick and parasite prevention for the duration in fostercare. We are an volunteer group, who process the applications so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone and email addresses for all your references. Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process . We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible. When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the dog picks you too. If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee and an adoption contract to be signed. The adoption fees help cover a portion of the care provided to the animals. All dogs and cats are microchipped and all animals adopted out are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. **All of our animals have a lifetime commitment. If for any reason, the adoption does not work out, the cats and dogs are to come back to CVRR, which is a NO kill rescue.*** The foster family and the rescue volunteers will choose the new home based on the best fit for the dog/cat.

More about Kindred
Interested in this animal? The first step is an application, which can be completed at www.cvrrescue.org/adoption-applications/. The adoption fee helps cover a portion of the care provided for our animals, including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing for dogs, FeLV/FIV combo testing for cats, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines (including rabies vaccine), and any medical care received while in our care. All cats and dogs are on flea/tick and parasite prevention for the duration of foster care. Notes about puppies: Adopters can expect a new puppy to have accidents, chew things they shouldn't, and have other normal, energetic puppy issues until they are trained, including jumping, mouthing, and general youthful naughtiness. If you experience puppy issues, please feel free to contact us; we’re happy to offer guidance. Also, if a puppy is a mixed breed, we cannot guarantee an adult weight. If your residence has weight restrictions or if you’re looking for a specific adult weight, we don't recommend applying for a mixed-breed puppy. We also offer rehoming services for pets currently owned by individuals. In these cases, we list the animal as a courtesy to the owner, and the animal is not currently in the care of CVRR, such that we can make no representation or guarantee of the animal’s behavior, demeanor, or health assessment. All information listed for a courtesy-posted animal is provided by the current owner and should be verified by any potential adopter. CVRR is a nonprofit organization. We have no paid staff, and all applications are reviewed and processed by our volunteers. Please be patient and understand that it may take 7-14 days to process your application, check your references, and gather follow-up info. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone numbers and email addresses for your vet and landlord references, and by answering each question fully. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the animal picks you, too. If it seems the adoption will be a good match for all, we will collect the adoption fee and complete the adoption contract. CVRR is a NO KILL rescue organization, and we have a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to all of our animals. If for any reason the adoption does not work out, the animal must be returned to CVRR. We will reevaluate the animal and choose a new home based on the best fit for it.
