Our first step is an application which can be filled out atwww.cvrrescue.org
Jersey. She is 6 months old, 25 lbs, crate and house trained. Like most teenagers still needs work on manners and boundaries. Because of their breed and age they're pretty rough so I wouldn't suggest a home with a tiny dog or tiny human. Jersey can be slightly unsure of herself in new situations but is the sweeter of the two and is calmer. She can be fearful of new dogs and warms up slower than her sister. She would be happy in a calmer home where is her sister would thrive in chaos.
Update: Jersey Cuddles is still all puppy, but is house trained and crate trained. socialized with other dogs, puppies, kittens and KIDS! She is just looking for a home that will help her develop the rest of her skills. She was born towards the end of September 2016, her adoption fee is $175
We are unsure if the mix of this puppy and thus unsure of what her adult size will be. She is social and affectionate with humans and animals. She has been handled since birth by adults and children. Cuddles is still a puppy so she can get a little nippy since she still has baby teeth. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home. She is also doing great on potty training and sit command. She loves being outdoors for play time and also loves toys.

Like all puppies, adopters can expect any puppy to have accidents, chew things they shouldn't, and have other normal energetic puppy issues (jumping, mouthing, general youthful naughtiness). Because this is a guess of breed mixture, we can not guarantee a pets weight and should not apply for a puppy if your place has weight restrictions or you are looking for an ideal weight (you can always check out the adult dogs whose weight we do know).
This dogs doption fee is $175 which covers the following: spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing, dhp/p, rabies, bordatella (agre appropriate vaccines), deworming, and all the care he received while with CVRR. All animals are on flea and tick and parasite prevention for the duration in fostercare. We are an volunteer group, who process the applications so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone and email addresses for all your references. Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process . We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible. When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the dog picks you too. If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee and an adoption contract to be signed. The adoption fees help cover a portion of the care provided to the animals. All dogs and pups are microchipped and all animals adopted out are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. **All of our animals have a lifetime commitment. If for any reason, the adoption does not work out, the cats and dogs are to come back to CVRR, which is a NO kill rescue.*** The foster family and the rescue volunteers will choose the new home based on the best fit for the dog/cat.

Interested in this animal? The first step is an application, which can be completed at www.cvrrescue.org/adoption-applications/. The adoption fee helps cover a portion of the care provided for our animals, including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing for dogs, FeLV/FIV combo testing for cats, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines (including rabies vaccine), and any medical care received while in our care. All cats and dogs are on flea/tick and parasite prevention for the duration of foster care. Notes about puppies: Adopters can expect a new puppy to have accidents, chew things they shouldn't, and have other normal, energetic puppy issues until they are trained, including jumping, mouthing, and general youthful naughtiness. If you experience puppy issues, please feel free to contact us; we’re happy to offer guidance. Also, if a puppy is a mixed breed, we cannot guarantee an adult weight. If your residence has weight restrictions or if you’re looking for a specific adult weight, we don't recommend applying for a mixed-breed puppy. We also offer rehoming services for pets currently owned by individuals. In these cases, we list the animal as a courtesy to the owner, and the animal is not currently in the care of CVRR, such that we can make no representation or guarantee of the animal’s behavior, demeanor, or health assessment. All information listed for a courtesy-posted animal is provided by the current owner and should be verified by any potential adopter. CVRR is a nonprofit organization. We have no paid staff, and all applications are reviewed and processed by our volunteers. Please be patient and understand that it may take 7-14 days to process your application, check your references, and gather follow-up info. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone numbers and email addresses for your vet and landlord references, and by answering each question fully. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the animal picks you, too. If it seems the adoption will be a good match for all, we will collect the adoption fee and complete the adoption contract. CVRR is a NO KILL rescue organization, and we have a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to all of our animals. If for any reason the adoption does not work out, the animal must be returned to CVRR. We will reevaluate the animal and choose a new home based on the best fit for it.
